ASC thanks all the supporters, donors and fundraisers for the CPWR conference

American Sikh Council (ASC) booth at the parliament of world’s religions was a huge success with all the participants. ASC thanks all the supporters, donors and fundraisers for the ASC fundraising for Council of Parliament of World Religions (CPWR) conference in Salt Lake City for making this opportunity possible.

Thanks to your efforts ASC met the goals and was able to fully participate and commit to all the activities planned at the conference. The highlights have been:

• The awareness at unprecedented levels of Sikhs and our Articles of Faith.
• The concept of Langar is now known and appreciated.
• Salt Lake City was full of Dastaaran (turban) wearing conference participants and this was quite remarkable!
• For the first time the Langar was featured in the news release by CPWR as part of their daily reporting.
