ASC reps hold Anti-Bullying presentations at the Moorestown Upper Elementary School in NJ on March 18, 2017

On Friday March 18, 2017, American Sikh Council (ASC) ASC representative S.Karanveer Singh (author of ‘Bullying of Sikh American Children – Through the Eyes of a Sikh American High School Student’ and currently a freshman at Rutgers University) along-with S.Kavneet Singh addressed and did an Anti-Bullying presentation to over 75 school children (6th graders, a few 5th graders and several teachers) at the Moorestown Upper Elementary School in the afternoon.

S.Karanveer Singh gave an hour long presentation which was combined with short documentaries, a power point presentation, turban tying and a Q & A period.

The students were inquisitive and asked many questions making the overall presentation even more interactive and educational for the audience. The administrators and teachers liked presentation so much that they are tentatively planning to hold another presentation at the Middle School in the near future.
