American Sikh Council (ASC) ASC Vice-President S. Jasbir Kaur led a Sikh Youth Camp at the Guru Nanak Sikh Society of Lehigh Valley Gurdwara, Nazareth, PA between December 24 – 31, 2017. At least 40 children ages 5 – 16 attended this week long religious camp.
The theme of the camp this year was ‘Chottai Sahibzadas and where do we stand?’ S.Jasbir Kaur and the adults taught the young campers Gurbani writing, kirtan, how to take the daily hukamnana, Sikh history, and the Sikh kavishri.
All the parents were empowered to use messages from the Gurbani at home while raising the children as Sikhs to make sure they stayed on the right path.
At the end of the camp the newly approved Mool Nanakshahi (MNC) Calendars were distributed to the sangat.

The sewadars at the Guru Nanak Sikh Society of Lehigh Valley Gurdwara, Nazareth, PA are very active in educating and empowering the young Sikh youth. Regular programs are held at the gurdwara and a lot of stress is given on spending time with the children so that they are inculcated the best values in order to become awesome Sikhs.
The mothers in particular spent an enormous amount of time to patiently help teach the children.
The members of the Guru Nanak Sikh Society of Lehigh Valley Gurdwara, Nazareth, PA are to be congratulated for running the Sikh Youth Camps regularly.
