The American Sikh Council (ASC) is focused on education (internal and external) but primarily to empower our youth and their future. Among our many national initiatives, this particular initiative is to excite and inspire our youth to the joy of flying which can possibly lead their career into Aviation (private, commercial and/or the Air Force). ASC has been invited by the Air Force Recruiting Service, Detachment 1 (AFRS/Det 1) to nominate students who are eligible to participate in its AIM HIGH Flight Academy (AHFA).

- To apply for this program, you must be between the ages of 16‐18 (You must be 16 years old as of June 1, 2023) and must be a full‐time student in high school.
- This two to three (2‐3) week flying scholarship is worth $12,500.
- If selected, the training will be in the summer of 2023.
- Students must be nominated by the American Sikh Council (ASC).
- The application window will be open from October 1 to November 30, 2022.
