The Sikhs have lost anything between 1 to 1.2 million people mainly youth, during the decade 1981-91.
American Sikh Council feels strongly that the truth about the Sikh genocide needs to come out and is playing a vital role in disseminating information regarding the third Sikh Genocide. American Sikh Council volunteers have worked tirelessly to come up with resources like :
- Memorial Plaques (Sikh Genocide Memorial Plaques Being Installed in Various Gurdwaras across the nation)
- Video Presentations
- Brochures and tri-folds
- List of books and online resources on Sikh genocide
- ThirdSikhGenocide.wordpress.org website with the primary objective to provide educational and outreach resources, such as presentations, posters, pictures, etc.
